Our former Ph.D. student Aisulu Aitbekova, who graduated from our group in June 2021, is recipient of the prestigious Melvin P. Aisulu successfully defends her PhD thesis!

Aisulu Aitbekova successfully and brilliantly defended her PhD thesis on May 12 and became the 8th student in the group to obtain a PhD! We’re excited about all the great things that she will accomplish at Caltech with her post-doctoral fellowship working with Harry Atwater! Congratulations, Dr. Aitbekova!
